Rosales is the hometown of F. Sionil Jose, greatest living Filipino novelist. This busy public market is the commercial hub of Rosales.
One can enjoy great-tasting down-home Pangasinan and Ilocano favorites like pinakbet, inabraw, pinapaitan, dinardaraan,
mongo with ampalaya and other culinary delights in this unpretentious eating place along this road going to Carmen.
Rural Rosales is the setting of F. Sionil Jose's celebrated five-novel series called Rosales Saga.
"Poon" is the title of one of the five novels in Rosales Saga and the fictional name of a village in Rosales. Traditional
