Rosales is the hometown of F. Sionil Jose, greatest living Filipino novelist. This busy public market is the commercial hub of Rosales.

One can enjoy great-tasting down-home Pangasinan and Ilocano favorites like pinakbet, inabraw, pinapaitan, dinardaraan,
mongo with ampalaya and other culinary delights in this unpretentious eating place along this road going to Carmen.
