Backpacks delivered January 11, 2006

Pictured here are the Barangobong school kids with their backpacks. This is how Bella Magoncia Marinas spent part of her vacation in Pangasinan.
Bella emailed... "watching the kids smiling is more gratifying and satisfying than shopping in the mall or dining in Matutina.

Each pupil from Grade 1 to 6 has a backpack set. Bella made a point to give everyone a special gift, not a handout but a gift that signifies
giving and sharing with the hope that these kids will remember and do the same thing when they grow up.












 

Bella heard this young lady's dream is to become a nurse. We are sure she will come back to
Barangobong Elementary 20 years from now.

Gerald Casaclang Mamenta and Cherryl Magoncia Macaraeg, the pangasinan.org project coordinators, our "making it happened" team,
(in football they are the star players.... you called them running backs, they bring the ball to the goal line, making Pangasinan a winner.
