Medical
missions are a great way of helping the impoverished people of our town who
are unable to seek medical care due to poverty. The Quintinians Association
of San Diego (QASD) has started a major fund raising campaign to complete a
medical mission tentatively scheduled for San Quintin on Nov. 2, 3, & 4,
2007. The purpose of the mission is to help over 600 registered indigent
children who are malnourished and thousands indigent families who suffer
from various minor illness, dental & vision problems but are unable to seek
medical help due to poverty. The funds allocated by the Philippine
government to our Rural Health Center are not enough to tackle these health
care issues. Through our non-profit Association QASD, we can help. We are appealing to all of our Fellow Quintinians all over the world to support this mission by entering your pledge and sending your donations or checks payable to: QASD Medical Mission Fund 2007 and mail them c/o Imelda R. Padilla, QASD Treasurer, 5315 Seaglen Way, San Diego, CA. 92154. We also need volunteers to help. If you are a Medical Professional, a Medical Technician, a Dentist, Ophthalmologist or a Pharmacologist and would like to volunteer for this mission please write to: QASD President Ernesto Tactay at 3106 E. Plaza Blvd. National City, Ca. 91950 or call him at (619) 995-6821 EMAIL at ernieqasd@hotmail.com “Your donation or services given will make a huge difference in the life of others” PLEASE HELP! back to San Quintin Page Best viewed on 1024 x 768 screen resolution or higher |
